GlobalLogic, a leader in automotive software development, is looking for talented engineers to join our team, working with one of the world’s top car manufacturers. We focus on developing middleware components for Linux-based systems in connected vehicles, enabling features like remote updates, telematics, and cloud communication.

Using modern tools like agile development, continuous integration, and test automation, we deliver innovative, high-quality software. As part of our agile team, you’ll ensure performance, security, and robustness while collaborating with team on the latest Android Auto.

Requirements:

Must have:

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Knowledge of AOSP or Android Automotive
• Proficiency in Android Studio, Java, and Kotlin
• Experience with source control tools like Git and repo
• Familiarity with connectivity (WiFi/Bluetooth), multimedia, or audio domains
• Strong spoken and written English skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with Android Auto or CarPlay
• Knowledge of common and mobile architectures
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, Gerrit, or GitHub in product development
• Understanding of Agile Software Development
• Experience with network log analysis (e.g., Wireshark)
• Experience with native code (C++), crash analysis

Job responsibilities:

• Design software architecture
• Participate in customer requirements analysis
• Contribute to the development of new features and services
• Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot complex automotive software systems
• Oversee the implementation of developed software concepts
