Junior Software Engineer

Our Role The Junior Software Engineer is responsible for building and configuring new development and testing environments set by the IT and Infrastructure teams. New environments will be required for all RegWorks customers. This role will perform tasks under the guidance and supervision of Senior Software Engineer This role reports to the Service Delivery Manager and does not have people management responsibilities. A Day In Your Role Build and configure new development and testing environments on new Windows infrastructure which will be set up by the Infrastructure & IT TeamMigrate environment configuration and data into the new environments from current legacy infrastructureTrack and report progress Your Skills , Experience And Beyond Demonstrate good understanding of XML, SQL, JavaGood working knowledge of tomcatFamiliarity with working on legacy infrastructure or ability to analyse and adapt legacy systems for compatibility with new environment.Experience using specific SQL Server, git, IntelliJ, Maven highly desired.Good written and oral communications. Work collaboratively with the team.
