Marketing Manager – Automotive Industry


Job Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Brand Management

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and market share.
  • Conduct industry research, consumer behavior analysis, and competitor benchmarking to provide market insights.
  • Define brand positioning, product promotion, and communication strategies.
  • Manage and optimize the marketing budget to maximize ROI.

Product Marketing

  • Lead marketing initiatives for new vehicle models or automotive components, including product launches, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, R&D) to align marketing plans with business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to analyze customer needs and provide insights for product development and improvements.
  • Develop and implement sales support strategies, such as promotional campaigns, auto shows, and test-drive events.

Digital Marketing & Advertising

  • Oversee digital and traditional advertising campaigns, including social media, SEM, display ads, and influencer partnerships.
  • Manage content marketing across company websites, social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn), and other digital channels.
  • Monitor and optimize SEO/SEM, email marketing, and paid advertising to drive brand visibility and customer conversion.
  • Track key performance metrics, analyze campaign effectiveness, and refine marketing strategies.

Public Relations & Event Management

  • Organize and execute industry events, product launches, test-drive experiences, and brand activation activities.
  • Manage media relations, industry partnerships, and government engagements to enhance brand reputation.
  • Develop public relations strategies, including press releases, media outreach, and crisis management.
  • Initiate co-branding partnerships and cross-industry marketing collaborations to expand brand influence.

Dealer Support & Channel Management

  • Develop marketing support programs for dealerships, including promotional strategies, marketing materials, and sales training.
  • Monitor dealership marketing performance and adjust regional strategies to increase market penetration.
  • Organize dealer conferences and training sessions to improve execution efficiency.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, Communications, or related fields.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in the automotive industry (OEM, automotive parts, dealership, or aftermarket).
  • Strong knowledge of automotive industry trends, brand marketing strategies, and market expansion methods.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns and integrated marketing communication (IMC).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO/SEM, and CRM systems.
  • Strong data analysis skills to develop strategies based on marketing performance metrics.
  • Excellent project management abilities with the capability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and resources.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to work effectively with sales, product, and dealer teams.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to design impactful brand marketing campaigns.

Language Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and Spanish (or other target market languages) to work with global teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 automotive suppliers.
  • Expertise in electric vehicles (EVs) and intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs).
  • Familiarity with automotive industry regulations and market entry requirements, with existing industry or government connections.
