Your Role

As a Java or .NET Back-end Developer at DEVCO, you’ll step into the role of a vital engineer for our clients’ software solutions. Working as a consultant for our clients, you’ll delve into the core of their projects, utilizing your expertise in Java or .NET to build resilient and scalable back-end systems.

Your Experience

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in either Java or .NET
  • Ability to write clean, testable code, and unit tests for it
  • Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL server, preferably used with an ORM
  • Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
  • Experience with Git and DevOps platforms such as GitHub and Azure Devops
  • Proficiency in English, written and spoken

Nice to have

  • Experience creating pipelines or actions for CI/CD
  • Experience with other types of databases
  • Experience with containerisation (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript)
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue)
  • Familiarity with SAFe (agile for enterprise)
  • Proficiency in Dutch, written and spoken
