• Support hybrid cloud and multi-cloud networking solutions, integrating on-premises and cloud environments securely and efficiently.
  
• Design and implement Software-Defined Networking (SDN) architecture for distributed applications.
  
• Make necessary design updates to existing dynamic routing architecture for migrating services to a cloud-based platform.
  
• Modify network connectivity and infrastructure for inter-DC, on-premises to cloud, and cloud-to-cloud connections, ensuring network requirements for internal and external services accessing cloud platforms are met.
  
• Lead the deployment of complex end-to-end large-scale network architectures.
  
• Provide recommendations for improvements to current-state and end-state network architecture.
  
• Deploy third-party Network Virtual Appliances (NVAs) for routing and filtering, ensuring secure, reliable, and feature-rich connectivity.
  
• Identify network automation requirements to streamline deployments and improve operational efficiency using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, or Ansible.
  
• Implement best practices for security and compliance, ensuring zero-trust within networking infrastructure and connectivity across data centers, colocation facilities, edge locations, and public/private clouds.
  
• Troubleshoot complex networking issues, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance through monitoring tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, ELK, Prometheus).
  
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Software Engineering teams to design and maintain scalable and resilient network architectures.
  
• Stay ahead of industry trends and AWS networking advancements, evaluating and implementing new networking technologies.
  

• 8-10 years of experience in network engineering, focusing on delivering complex architectures for large-scale network environments.
  
• Expert knowledge of networking technologies including Routing/Switching, Firewalls, and Load Balancing solutions in a multi-vendor environment.
  
• Experience in Network Architecture for public cloud deployments, specifically within AWS.
  
• Extensive experience in planning and executing network assessments for medium to large environments.
  
• Practical experience with Software-Defined Data Centers (SDDC), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), VxLAN, and Data Center Spine-leaf.
  
• Proficiency in network automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, or Ansible.
  
• Experience with hybrid cloud connectivity and cloud interconnects.
  
• Expertise in AWS networking services (e.g., VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, PrivateLink, ALB/NLB, Route 53, Global Accelerator).
  
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools like AWS CloudWatch, Wireshark, NetFlow, and ThousandEyes.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex, high-impact network issues.
  
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring teams and leading cross-functional initiatives.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• CCIE (Service Provider / Enterprise / Data Center) or equivalent certification.
  
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty or equivalent certification.
  
• Experience with multi-cloud networking (Azure, GCP) and SDN architectures.
  
• Familiarity with Kubernetes networking (CNI plugins, Istio, service mesh).
  
• Experience with DDoS mitigation and security tools such as AWS Shield, WAF, and NACLs.
