What The Role Is

You formulate and implement cybersecurity polices, governance and regulatory frameworks to uplift cybersecurity across the MINDEF/SAF defence sectors i.e. MINDEF, Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), DSO National Laboratories (DSO), Defence Industries and MINDEF-related Organisations.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Formulate cybersecurity policies and strategies
  • Develop governance and regulatory frameworks
  • Uplift cybersecurity across MINDEF/SAF defence sectors
  • Liaise with various Singapore government agencies, such as Cyber Security Agency of Singapore, Smart Nation and Government Office and Government Technology Agency


Challenge(s)

  • Coordinating with multiple agencies for consistent policy formulation
  • Aligning MINDEF/SAF cybersecurity strategies with national-level requirements
  • Harmonising diverse cybersecurity needs across different defence sectors


What We Are Looking For

  • Education in Information Technology (IT) and Cybersecurity related field
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), Certified Information System Manager (CISM) or relevant GIAC certification is preferred
  • At least 2 years of work experience in cybersecurity roles
  • Creative and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Strong decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
