Your Responsibilities:

🔒 Design and implement robust security strategies to protect digital assets and cloud infrastructure

🛡️ Conduct comprehensive security assessments and risk analyses

🕵️ Take ownership of vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (e.g. with BurpSuite)

📊 Monitor system security, track vulnerabilities, and respond to security incidents

🛠️ Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best-practice guidelines

👨‍💻 Ensure secure coding practices across development teams

📚 Educate and train staff on IT security best practices and raise internal security awareness

🏗️ Advise development and DevOps teams on security aspects of architectural design

🔁 Perform regular and documented security testing on existing applications and infrastructure

Your Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or a related field
• Proven experience in IT security, ideally in the financial or crypto sector
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM solutions, and secure network design
• Strong understanding of encryption technologies and secure data transmission
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) and GDPR compliance
• Proficient in incident response and forensic analysis
• Solid knowledge of cloud security practices and tools (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Initial experience and genuine interest in digital assets is a plus
• Team spirit, high commitment, and a proactive attitude
• Fluent in English, nice-to-have fluency in German
