IT Security Engineer (Fluent German and English) Munster to €52,000

Hugely successful tech company that specialise in end-to-end eCommerce platforms solutions is seeking a technologist IT Security Engineer.

As an IT Security Engineer you will collaborate closely with the ISO (Information Security Officer) to ensure the security of the company's internal systems. You'll have a broad range of responsibilities including Windows Server security, network security, configuration and maintenance of firewalls and coordination of Penetration Testing via 3rd parties. You will respond to IT security incidents and carry out vulnerability scans to secure and harden IT systems and collaborate with the wider tech team to raise awareness of security threats and how to prevent them.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home, however, you must be within a 100km drive of Schöppingen in case of emergencies that need to be dealt with onsite (when on-call, 1 in 5-6 weeks), there is a sociable team environment with sports, team breakfasts and lunches, so ideally you'll be in the office two days a week.

About you:

• You have experience in a similar role, with a broad range of IT Security knowledge including network security
• You have a good understanding of Firewalls and Intrusion Detection Systems
• You have some Penetration Testing experience and a desire to improve your skills in this area
• You're familiar with AWS security and keen to learn more in this area
• You have a basic understanding of ISO 27001 and SOC 2
• You are collaborative and enthusiastic with fluent English and German language skills
