Full Stack Developer (Founding Team)

Always Friday’s mission is to make corporate event-planning incredibly simple and efficient.

We are currently an early-stage startup but our ambition is delusional. We aim to become the all-in-one platform for corporate events like retreats and team building, similar to what Booking is for private users. Why doesn’t Booking work? Companies have distinct needs, and until now, nobody has created a software program that fully addresses these needs. Here comes Always Friday: we have the determination to build a solution that automates and digitalises the entire event-planning, from location scouting to seamless invoice management. Our platform will leverage a proprietary dataset, in partnership with world-class hotel chains, rather than relying on scraping data from other websites like existing alternatives.

A Minimum Viable Product is already available at our website but this is just 1% of what we have in mind. This is why we need you: we want to create a disruptive product and succeed where no else did: scaling corporate events. We’re already on track to hit five-figure revenues by the end of the year, have more than 20 active clients, and have secured commitments for future funding—even without actively fundraising yet. Maybe we did well but maybe we picked the right problem to solve.

• You will be responsible for designing and building the core technology and architecture that powers our product.
• You will work closely with the founding team to understand the clients’ needs and build a technical roadmap that aligns with our goals and the current customer journey.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code

• Experience in Full-Stack (React, TypeScript, Python)
• Confidence in shipping end-to-end products (AI-powered)
• Strong bias for action and will to succeed: we are looking for someone to fight a war with us
• Adaptability and comfort in navigating ambiguity, shifting directives, and rapidly evolving market conditions

We truly believe in flexibility. You will never be forced to work in the office everyday: you can have long weekends at home working from there and we don’t have a maximum/minimum number of remote work days. However, we don’t believe in full remote. We highly value being able to work side-by-side and believe this kind of work leads to another level of productivity. If you are looking for a job that will allow you to work 8 months from Bali, well, we think you are in the wrong place.
