We are looking for a Game Producer for two of our projects.

You would help us make, market, and publish games for the Soul Atlas Universe.

The projects coming up:

  • A TTRPG (Oneshots, Oneshot Rulebooks, Campaign Rulebook, Region Books, Playthrough Recordings, Community Infrastructure etc.) STATUS: Rulebook in Editing, First Playthrough recording complete, Testing ongoing for various months
  • A Cardgame (Physical and Full Digital Release (not just “a port”), roughly 150 Cards upon first release) STATUS: Prototyping

BACKSTORY

Our team is building a medieval fantasy universe that includes films, games, comic books, music, and more (think Game of Thrones, Runeterra, Middle Earth, the Wizarding World or The Witcher's Universe) In the Soul Atlas one may encounter dragon chariots, meaning-driven magic, demon-controlled golems, secretive political intrigue, ill-begotten creeds, horse-powered airships and many other fantasy themes that excite us and express themselves through our films, games, comics, music, events and lore.

We built our team from a small group of young professionals into a crew of over 150 creators and would love to welcome you.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce games that our Gaming Department is developing right now
  • Help us embark on future projects
  • Develop an understanding of the market to steer our projects towards what the players wants, while respecting our Universe's rules, canon, and overall themes.
  • Help time-manage our team, most of our creators are part-time and need clear deadlines.
  • Communicate with the other Departments and management to secure assets the team might need, this includes assets from the Music, Art, Writing, Marketing departments, and others.
  • Keep a clear vision of the project and help balance our time and budget so that scope-creep doesn't drag us down.
  • Investigate the most sensible monetization strategy that works whilst maintaining high trust with the fanbase
  • Ensure there are enough people on the team and hire more when necessary to support you and the team
  • Contact and negotiate with Publishers

OUR OBJECTIVE

Create games set on our fantasy world that make people fall in love with our universe and want to explore our other media. Make a roster of different games for different tastes, ranging from the cooperative RPGs to the competitive card games and more. Make a name for ourselves in the gaming industry. Use our games and a vehicle to present our lore to the player in an interactive way. And most important off all: Make players have a meaningfully fun time.

YOU

  • You are a producer that has great communicating skills, knows how to handle different kinds of people from different cultures, and is comfortable having a leadership position.
  • You are knowledgeable about Crowdfunding platforms as some of our games might need to go through them.
  • You are familiar with distribution chains or are willing to learn to navigate them once the games are finished.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English.
  • You are proactive: If you need more information, can't get a hold of someone or are having any sort of issue, you don't wait for the problem to grow — you solve it swiftly.
  • You are reliable: You are in communication with the leadership team about the project's progress and any problems that might arise so we can find solutions on our end as well.
  • You are easy to reach and have an open line of communication with the whole team.
  • You are passionate about fantasy, sci-fi, history, and pop-culture.

COMPENSATION DETAILS

Time Investment:

Approximately 10 hours/week (flexible week on week, as we understand you may have other commitments).

Salary:

At this point, there is no salary. However, salary may kick in at some point, depending on the growth of the company. If you apply, we will send you a video with more information. But beware: This is not for the impatient!

Shares:

Instead of a salary, you will be given shares in the company at this stage of the process. These shares come with revenue-sharing rights and can later be bought back by the company at a multiple (reverse dutch auction, independent valuationm, secondary markets - we have no intention to be acquired or IPO). Essentially, you become an investor through your time and effort, with the potential for significant returns if the company grows profitably. We can go into more detail about how this works during the interview.

Thank you very much for considering the collaboration.

We hope to see you on the other side and that we grow together on these exciting projects!

All the best,

Your Soul Atlas Team
