Your future contribution

As a Senior Software Engineer & Team Lead (PHP), you'll play a vital role in the success of HomeToGo. We're looking for an experienced software engineer / team lead to manage our Price and Availability team. Our diverse and modern tech stack includes Symfony, MariaDB, ElasticSearch, Snowflake, Redis, Aerospike, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, and more. How You’ll Add Value

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a small team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
• Drive the development and execution of technical strategies and initiatives to improve quality of our price component.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure the timely delivery of relevant features
• Identify and address technical challenges, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of pricing components
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation, and driving operational efficiency
• Implement common engineering best practices
• Manage project timelines, resources, and priorities to meet business objectives
  
  

You’ll be successful in this role if you

• Have at least 2 years of experience in leading and managing high-performing engineering teams
• Have strong technical background with a solid understanding of performance oriented programming
• Are proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., PHP, C#) and experience with relevant frameworks
• Are familiar with relational databases (e.g., MariaDB, PostgreSQL), NoSQL databases, and data warehousing concepts
• Have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive technical solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Have excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Are proficiency in working with agile projects, defining and executing OKRs
• Understand the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Are fluent in English
