Job Summary:

Liwa College is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Institutional Research and Quality Assurance team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in analyzing complex datasets and providing actionable insights to enhance institutional effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, process, and analyze data from multiple sources, including Student Information Systems (SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), surveys, and external databases.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency through validation and quality control.
• Develop and generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making.
• Utilize statistical software packages (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to perform analysis and develop cloud-based data analysis systems.
• Support institutional research projects related to strategic planning and assessment.
• Assist in accreditation and compliance reporting.
• Conduct statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends and insights.
• Collaborate with various departments to define data needs and collection strategies.
• Knowledge of text analysis tools will be a plus.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in higher education.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, SQL, Python, R, or statistical software.
• Experience with predictive modeling and data mining techniques for text and data analysis.
• Knowledge of higher education accreditation standards and reporting requirements.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Ethical handling of sensitive and confidential data.
