IoT Developer

General Description

We are looking to recruit an IOT techno-functional lead. The candidate will be leading the project to build our own IOT platform and will be working very closely with the existing ARMS team.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Architect, implement, and test enterprise-scale IoT solutions using Azure IoT Hub and related services
• Design and implement device-to-cloud and cloud-to-device messaging patterns
• Configure and manage IoT device provisioning services (DPS) for secure device registration
• Integrate IoT solutions with Azure services including Stream Analytics, Event Hubs, and Azure Functions
• Optimize systems for data ingestion, processing, and storage at scale
• Implement message routing and filtering for efficient data handling
• Monitor and troubleshoot device connectivity and data transmission issues
• Configure and maintain IoT Edge deployments for edge computing scenarios
• Ensure IoT solutions meet security and compliance requirements
• Implement disaster recovery and high availability strategies
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• Communicate complex technical details to diverse audiences

Qualification Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IoT solutions architecture and implementation
• Strong understanding of IoT protocols (MQTT, AMQP, HTTPS) and network fundamentals
• Proven experience with Azure IoT Hub and related Azure services
• Experience implementing device management and monitoring solutions
• Knowledge of IoT security best practices and implementation patterns
• Understanding of industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC-UA) and integration patterns
• Familiarity with IoT device provisioning and lifecycle management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for IoT solutions
• Knowledge of data storage and analytics solutions for IoT workloads
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and technologies in the IoT space
