Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Support Analyst with 10–12 years of experience to join our Information & Communication Technology Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing L1 and L2 support, developing new interfaces, extracting ad-hoc reports, and assisting in the seamless operation of business-critical applications. This role demands a proactive problem solver, a team player, and someone who thrives in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily application-level support (L1 & L2) in coordination with functional and technical teams.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial system closings and ensure compliance with internal and external reporting standards.
• Develop and implement application enhancements and change requests, collaborating with stakeholders across business and IT.
• Write and optimize code, and fine-tune application performance across environments (DEV/TEST/PROD) for platforms including Microsoft Retail, Oracle ERP, .NET, APIs, mobile/web apps, cloud (SaaS), and custom-built systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues using industry-standard service management tools and practices.
• Conduct application training, documentation refreshes, and awareness sessions annually.
• Assist with operational budgeting and asset utilization assessments.
• Evaluate third-party service providers and make recommendations for operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with audits, licensing, contractual obligations, and risk assessments.
• Define and support business continuity plans, identifying cross-application dependencies and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with business units to update and maintain operational requirements.
• Execute additional tasks or assignments as directed by management.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information & Communication Technology or a related field from a reputed institute.
  
  

Experience

• 10–12 years of progressive experience in application support or IT operations.
  
  

Certifications (Preferred/Required)

• Oracle and Microsoft certifications in relevant domains.
• ITIL Foundation certification (preferred).
• Azure Fundamentals or equivalent cloud certification (an advantage).
  
  

Key Skills

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to perform ad-hoc tasks, data extraction, and reporting as needed.
• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, Java, .NET—able to write diagnostic tools and scripts for support purposes.
• Demonstrated ability to meet SLA requirements consistently.
• Experience with performance tuning and operational sustainability assessments.
• Understanding of compliance, audits, and application lifecycle management.
