Job Title – Innovation Manager – Data & AI

Location- Melbourne

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Innovation Manager – Data & AI to drive technological advancements in data and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS, Snowflake, and Digital Technologies, coupled with deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), including Generative AI. The candidate must have successfully implemented 2-3 AI solutions and be passionate about leveraging emerging technologies to create business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead data and AI-driven innovation initiatives, ensuring they align with business objectives.
• Design, develop, and implement AI solutions, including Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI, and Automation
• Architect scalable data solutions on AWS and Snowflake, ensuring high performance and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI adoption and drive transformation.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, Gen AI, cloud technologies, and digital innovation, and integrate them into strategic roadmaps.
• Build and mentor a high-performing AI and data engineering team while maintaining hands-on involvement in solution development.
• Drive proof-of-concepts (PoCs), MVPs, and production-grade implementations for AI-driven applications.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security standards, and industry best practices.

Key Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in data, cloud, and AI-driven digital transformation.
• Hands-on expertise in AWS (S3, Lambda, SageMaker, Redshift, etc.) and Snowflake.
• Proven track record of implementing 2-3 AI solutions in a real-world enterprise setting
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, NLP, LLMs, and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with MLOps, AI model deployment, and automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, and related data engineering tools.
• Ability to translate business challenges into AI-driven solutions and demonstrate ROI.
• Strong knowledge of API integrations, data pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience in leading innovation programs, PoCs, and product development.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AI/ML certifications (AWS Certified Machine Learning, Snowflake Data Science, etc.).
• Experience with computer vision, reinforcement learning, and advanced AI models.
• Exposure to digital twin technology, IoT, or blockchain in AI applications.
• Prior experience working in fast-paced, innovation-driven organizations.
