SENIOR FRONT END ENGINEER

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Front End Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina.

Our client is a company with many online destinations where people find spiritual guidance on love, relationships, and life. The company brings top talent to build exciting new features for customer-facing e-commerce products. The brands attract over 20 million unique users monthly across its four sites, 15 email newsletters, five mobile apps, numerous content partnerships, and significant social channels. It is on a steep growth trajectory due to its web and email advertising, mobile app subscription, and premium content sales businesses.

You will work across the front-end technology stacks, providing end-to-end solutions for B2C and B2B customers and developing web components spanning data access, API integration, and functional product additions/improvements. In addition to product development, you will also be involved in architectural work, porting codebases to the latest standard.

Requirements

• 6 – 10 years of experience in software development writing tested, scalable, well-documented code.
• Strong experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on expertise in React and Next.js.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to take ownership and accountability.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Collaborative team player who can motivate and create a positive environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at a major university or equivalent level of technical training.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Develop React components in the Next.js framework across multiple page templates, interfaces, and screen profiles.
• Provide rapid prototyping and A/B testing of front-end components, optimizing the user experience.
• Integrate necessary services to power data for front-end components.
• Assist with architectural approaches for multi-domain components for required web application product features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members such as UI/UX designers, product management, customer success, sales, and marketing.
• Collaborate closely with product managers to rapidly deliver new product features.
