Data Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst who will play a key role in shaping the logistics of fulfilling customer orders. The Data Analyst will be part of the Order Allocation area, in the Fulfilment and Core Services domain. The team is cross-functional and builds digital products that orchestrate how and when customer orders are optimally fulfilled, balancing various trade-offs. In addition to the products, the team provides insights to business partners on product configurations and logistic process improvements at a global scale, in countries.

The scope

• The Data Analyst will closely work with product owners, software engineers and data scientists in the development of digital products in order allocation. This will require:
• Conducting data analysis, product ideation, and experimentation to optimize product development and features
• Calculating and recommending metrics to describe digital product impact, setting KPIs, and discovering patterns and dependencies
• Creating and verifying hypotheses for fulfillment processes, through a variety of different testing approaches.
• Proactive and clear communication with diverse stakeholders

We expect two days per week of onsite (office) work. Fully remote is not an option and the consultant is expected to be in Amsterdam when required.

Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience of advanced analytics, especially in logistics sector
• Python and SQL skills for data analysis and exploration
• Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform: BigQuery, JupyterLab, Looker Studio, etc.
• Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude and critical thinking
• Team spirit and ability to work in cross-functional teams with product owners, data scientists, and software engineers
