As a Junior Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll take ownership of building end-to-end solutions—designing, deploying, and monitoring models, along with the systems that support them. You’ll be hands-on with both the data science aspects and MLOps, with a touch of software engineering. This role is a great fit for someone passionate about both data science and software engineering who is just starting their career as MLE.

🌍 Location: Within European Union / Proficiency in Estonian is required

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms
• Prepare and process data for training and testing ML models
• Building and maintaining pipelines that run ML models online or batch
• Working with a wide range of different data sources: text, images, video, audio, voice, and tabular
• Some of the technologies you might stumble upon in existing projects: fastAPI, TensorFlow, sklearn, numpy, Airflow, Kubernetes, Keras, PyTorch, pandas, Azure, AWS, MLFlow, Docker, various LLMs

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in either software engineering or machine learning engineering
• Basic knowledge about NLP
• Comfortable with Linux and the Python data science stack
• Flexibility to work on different projects
• Having lots of curiosity and an eye for details
• Excellent written and verbal Estonian and English communication skills
• You are located within EU
