Our Defense Synthetics and Emerging Technology Engineers develop cutting-edge simulation systems for defense and public safety use cases. We combine the latest defense simulators, emerging technologies, deep industry expertise, and rapid experimentation to develop end-to-end operational solutions for training and simulation.

Defense Synthetics and Emerging Technology Engineers specialize in developing integrated multi-domain Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) simulation systems across a range of emerging technologies such as Extended Reality, GenAI, Digital Twins, Massive Scale Spatial Simulations, and UAVs to help our clients advance their Common Synthetic Environment initiatives.

We're currently seeking Engineers to join our Nordic team. Working in defense environment, you'll enjoy the variety and challenges that come with working on multiple projects. Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop integrated LVC simulation solutions for defense and public safety using experimentation and modern software development practices.

Pioneering with the latest technology innovations and learning constantly by investigating next tech in horizon

DevSecOps Engineer

As Defense simulation engineer you meet most of the following qualifications:

Knowledge in building modern LVC simulation solutions and their associated architectures including proven skills in Extended Reality

4+ years of professional software development working experience.

Knowledge of several programming languages (C++, Java, Python)

Knowledge of distributed simulation standards / protocols (HLA, DIS, C2SIM)

Good understanding of Command and Control (C2) systems, datalinks, and technical Interfaces

Unity, Unreal Engine, Omniverse, VBS or similar 3D engine expertise.

Experience with cutting-edge XR devices such as Varjo XR-4, Apple Vision Pro

Experience with 3D workflows such as CAD modeling, 3D modeling, terrain generation.

Rapid prototyping and related design experience such as 3D printing and laser cutting.

Knowledge of Generative AI

Experience in QA with 3D environments

A curious tech-oriented mindset that is open to change.

Strong communication skills and the ability to speak in detail about our offerings.

Ability to deliver what you promise.

Finnish citizenship (mandatory)
