Python Infrastructure Developer - Linux + Python

An industry leader in automated driving technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their platform software organization, working on the core infrastructure that supports large-scale software validation, testing, and release pipelines.

This role plays a crucial part in enabling development teams to efficiently test and debug mission-critical embedded systems. You’ll be part of a diverse, globally distributed team, collaborating across time zones and cultures, and contributing to systems that power the future of mobility.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design, maintain, and enhance the automation infrastructure used for large-scale software testing across distributed systems
• Work on debugging and optimizing complex test pipelines and runtime environments
• Collaborate with developers and integration teams to ensure quality, scalability, and reliability across the full software lifecycle
• Assist internal users in integrating and running test code seamlessly within automated systems
• Gain a deep understanding of system requirements, business use cases, and platform constraints
• Continuously improve engineering workflows, test farm scalability, and automation efficiency

What You Bring:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development within large-scale environments
• Strong proficiency in Python (Bash, Ruby, Perl, or Groovy is a bonus)
• Solid experience in Linux-based development environments
• Familiarity with job schedulers/resource managers like Slurm, Kubernetes, or LSF
• Experience working with HPC (High-Performance Computing) environments is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile setting and collaborate with remote teams effectively
• Excellent debugging skills, clear documentation practices, and a passion for scalable solutions
