About the Role

Our Engineering team is looking for a software engineer with a passion to build high quality, easy-to-use, scalable, customer focused capabilities that enhance Ambr’s current fintech capabilities.

Our stack is simple yet effective, focusing on well-documented, bug-free frameworks and services to ensure fast rebuild/reload times.

We are also working on a stablecoin (EMT) project, so an interest in blockchain technology is a big plus!

This role will challenge and reward you, placing you at the forefront of FinTech and blockchain systems, with. ample learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

• You will be working in a scrum team using Agile methodologies contributing directly to our technical roadmap and working on key product enhancements using Python/Django, TypeScript, and AWS
• Engaging in a project fully hosted on AWS, supported by a lightweight automated deployment process
• We operate as a DevOps team, so you will rotate between providing production support and doing

strategic software development.

• Taking significant responsibilities in a small team that impact our architectural decisions.
• Using TypeScript SDKs to improve backend development workflows and API interactions.
• Contributing to our stablecoin blockchain project, adding new features and improving scalability

Requirements

• A keen interest in technology, problem-solving, and blockchain projects
• Strong software architecture and software engineering skills
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology
• Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in Python, focusing on data architecture and back-end services
• Proficiency in Django and domain modelling
• Strong skills in SQL (MariaDB/MySQL), including writing complex queries from scratch
• Knowledge of HTTP and REST APIs, FastAPI, and writing robust, test-driven, and fault-tolerant
• software
• Experience with Celery and asynchronous processing
• Superb communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical
• solutions
• Experience with TypeScript SDKs to enhance development workflows and API interactions
• Fluency in English and Lithuanian
