Role's mission
Kantar's Worldpanel division is searching for a Junior Verticals Data Analyst. Based in Lisbon, Portugal this is an incredible opportunity to be part of our exciting vision for the future!
As a Junior Verticals Data Analyst you'll be trained to process and validate data, as well as delivering/producing databases to transform our Stakeholders' requirements into reporting deliverables.
Our Data Production Team is a team that assembles databases for several different market scopes and multiple countries. Our Data Analysts are experts in building, validating, and analyzing tendencies while taking in account all the stakeholders' needs, collaborating with local markets.

Key outcomes
- Provide analysis and support in data processing procedures based on business software.
- Process and validate data.
- Collaborate with local markets.
- Build, validate, and analyse data tendencies taking into account stakeholders' needs.
- Deliver and produce databases to translate our stakeholders' requirements into reporting deliverables.
Your background will ideally look like this...
- Knowledge or previous experience in data manipulation is appreciated.
- Be able to write, read, comprehend, reason, and perform basic mathematics calculations and data analysis.
- Programming skills are desirable (i.e.: SQL)
- Knowledge or previous experience with MS Excel (e.g. Advanced Formulas; Pivot Tables) is recommended.
- English professional proficiency - minimum B2 Level is required.
- Inquisitive, with critical thinking, and demonstrate a genuine passion for consumer behaviour.
- Enjoys actively looking for new and more efficient ways of improving processes, raising standards, reducing errors, and overcoming omissions.
- Is proactive, optimistic, and willing to get involved to achieve the team's goals and objectives.
- Is highly collaborative and adaptable with the ability to work effectively within different cultural and technical environments.
- Possesses outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in order to comfortably connect with partners at all levels across the organization and facilitates discussions in a constructive manner.
