We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development to join our client's team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in modern Java (Java 8+, preferably Java 11 or 17) along with a strong understanding of system design, microservices, and event-driven architectures. This role requires proficiency in relational databases, messaging queues, Docker, and CI/CD to build and maintain scalable, high-performance applications.

Your new role:

As a Java Developer you will:

• Develop, test, and maintain robust backend applications using Java 8+ (preferably Java 11 or 17).
• Design and implement RESTful APIs following best practices.
• Architect and build microservices-based and event-driven systems.
• Work with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle), ensuring optimized data modeling and performance.
• Implement and manage messaging queues for asynchronous processing.
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker-based architectures.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket CI/CD) for automated deployments.
• Utilize Git and branching strategies for effective version control and release management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Communicate effectively in English (both written and spoken).

What you'll need to succeed:

• 6+ years of professional experience in Java development (Java 8+, preferably Java 11 or 17).
• Proficiency in Spring (including Spring Boot) and J2EE frameworks.
• Experience working with Docker and containerized environments.
• Strong understanding of system design principles and architectural patterns.
• Experience with API design, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle).
• Knowledge of messaging queues for asynchronous processing.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline development (Jenkins, Bitbucket CI/CD).
• Proficiency in Git, branching strategies, and release management.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with Linux.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, WebSockets) and their impact on system performance.
• Deep understanding of authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth2 and JWT.
• Familiarity with security best practices for backend development.
