About The Role

We are looking for a Data Scientist in the Data & Analytics Office to join our group of data professionals. Our Data & Analytics Office is a function within the Group & Business Services - a cross-divisional function with the overall objective to support SEB’s business within a number of areas. Our mission is to empower Group & Business Services by unlocking the potential of data. We provide support to strengthen organizations’ data capabilities, enable data-driven decision-making and leverage process intelligence across Group & Business Services.

As a Data Scientist, you will play an important role in accelerating our organization's data journey and creating business value. In this role you are expected to understand business needs and pain points in the process flows that can be addressed through data-driven solutions. You will have to analyze large datasets, apply advanced statistical and machine-learning techniques to drive actionable insights, data-driven decisions and improve services to the customers.

Core Roles And Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs and identify problems that can be solved using AI/ML techniques.
• Collect and refine business requirements using various methods, such as data-driven insights, interviews, document analysis and workflow analysis.
• Identify opportunities for AI/ML use cases, focusing on optimizing our manual processes and improving customer service.
• Perform data pre-processing, including data collection, cleaning and integration as well as feature engineering
• Run advanced and predictive analyses, perform analytical and machine learning model development, validation using software tools and functionalities
• Test performance and behavior of developed AIsolution, support in deploying models into the production environment
• Communicate outcomes of AI use cases to stakeholders as actionable results
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Scientists and DevOps teams to execute on AI use cases
  
  

To Thrive In This Role, We Believe You Have

• You have a strong academic background in Machine Learning and Data Science (at least hold a Master’s degree in relevant fields).
• You have working experience as a Data Scientist or similar role for at least 3 years and have been involved in exploring and, developing and deploying AI/ML models
• You have proficiency in SQL, the ability to query and manipulate databases.
• You have proficiency in Programming in e.g. R or Python for data science
• You have great data visualization techniques, the ability to create meaningful visualizations and communicate insights
• Experience working with a Google Cloud Platform, Power Platform, or Copilot Studio is highly desirable
• You have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership.
• You have great communication skills and fluency in English.
