Information Security Analyst Incident Response

We are looking for a highly experienced Information Security Analyst specializing in Incident Response to join a global IT vendor based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in threat detection, incident handling, vulnerability management, and proactive cybersecurity response strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security events to detect, respond, and mitigate cybersecurity threats and incidents.
• Investigate and manage complex security incidents across networks, systems, and applications.
• Perform in-depth threat analysis, malware investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams to respond to vulnerabilities and implement preventive controls.
• Identify and address potential security gaps in systems and processes.
• Assist in conducting penetration testing, network forensics, and risk assessments.
• Support internal and external audits and compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain incident response procedures and documentation.
• Prepare technical reports, incident summaries, and actionable recommendations for key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident response.
• Solid knowledge of SIEM tools, endpoint detection, threat intelligence platforms, and vulnerability scanners.
• Experience with malware analysis, phishing investigations, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple incidents simultaneously.
