UI DEVELOPER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Develop user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications and digital products
• Work with design and development teams to understand project requirements and translate them into functional user interfaces
• Design and implement visual elements, such as buttons, menus, and forms, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Ensure that user interfaces are responsive and can be viewed on different devices and platforms
• Conduct user research and usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness of user interfaces and make improvements as needed
• Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to ensure that the user interface aligns with the overall project goals and vision
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UI design and development
• Design mobile-based features
• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
• Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
• Expert level knowledge in React JS (<16.8.0), React Hooks, Redux, Redux middleware's, Unit testing frameworks, ES6, CSS, CSS preprocessors, HTML, Webpack, CI/CD, Spinnaker, Mongo DB
• Solid knowledge in HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Must have good communication skill. Able to explain and articulate challenges effectively
• Must be motivated to learn and adopt the technology used in applications
• Must have 6+ years of experience working as hands-on UI engineer
• Must have previous professional experience working with ReactJS or similar technology
• Must have experience writing regular unit tests
• Have experience working with templates like Handlebars, JSX etc.
• Able to communicate well both verbally or in writing (email, chat etc.)
• Problem solving skills - considers all angles, deal with tough issues, adhere to deadlines"
