Frontend Developer(Javascript_Typescript)

Maltem Singapore is currently seeking an Frontend Developer for our Wealth Management Client.

Role: Frontend Developer - Mid-level/Senior

Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop efficient, scalable, and highly reusable frontend systems that drive complex geospatial web applications.
• Optimize code to enhance scalability, reliability, security, and performance of web applications.
• Collaborate closely with product design, product management, and software development teams to ensure a world-class user experience.
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure web applications are accessible and perform well across various devices and screen sizes.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the highest quality of web applications.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve and innovate front-end development practices.

Qualifications

• Possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficient in native JavaScript (ES5/ES6+), with strong understanding and practical experience in event handling, and asynchronous programming and other core principles and fundamentals.
• Extensive frontend engineering experience, with demonstrated expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, React, and Redux.
• Proficiency with frontend libraries such as NX Monorepo, Redux Toolkit, React Router, React Hook Form, AgGrid, and HighCharts is highly desirable.
• Experience with geospatial front-end libraries such as Leaflet.js and Deck.gl is a plus.
• Familiarity with build tools and testing frameworks such as Webpack, Vite, and Vitest.
• Familiarity with the product and software development lifecycle, including Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Agile, fast learner, highly self-motivated, with a strong sense of product ownership and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrate a strong passion for software development and building exceptional web applications.
• A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
