We are looking for an experienced Cloud / DevOps engineer to join our client’s team and work from their offices in Geneva.
Responsibilities
• Engage with clients to understand their needs, discover opportunities, map vision & business requirements, and translate them into effective cloud-based solutions and services.
• Identify opportunities for automation and drive continuous improvement in the deployment process.
• Design and implement automation frameworks and deployment pipelines using cutting-edge tools and technologies.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance deployment practices to drive efficiency and reliability.
• Be autonomous and proactive; understand functional and technical requirements, identify gaps, and suggest improvements.
• Promote an automate everything approach and apply DevOps best practices to ensure consistent and transparent execution.
• Collaborate with the Service Offering, Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps Platform, and Cloud Governance and Architecture teams to optimize configuration and enhance deployment efficiency, governance, and security.
• Contribute to the development and creation of automated services.
• Keeping up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to deployment services and DevOps.
Requirements
• More than 3-5 years of demonstrated success in acting as a Cloud & DevOps expert.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex deployment issues.
• Proven experience deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, Continuous Deployment (ArgoCD), and (infrastructure-) automation.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code frameworks (e.g., Terraform).
• Solid understanding of SDLC processes (Agile, DevOps), cloud and networking concepts, and service delivery, with hands-on ability to implement best practices or suggest improvements.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect) would be a plus.
