VP, Senior Technical Project Manager (JRI-4671)

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the end to end software development and support respective applications. This includes analysis and design to development, implementation, testing and support
• As Technical Lead, you will be responsible for quality assurance of the team delivery in conformance to JRIS-defined software development life cycle (SDLC) methodology, tools and deliverable output.
• Plan technical deliverables (including any system enhancements and upgrades) to meet JRIS's project requirements within allocated budget and schedule
• Plan & collaborate across different application teams and/or surrounding platform to manage technical dependencies of the solution
• Plan, monitor and manage risk/ issues related to technical delivery
• Provide status update related to technical delivery to Project Manager (PM)
• Partner with System Analyst, Business Analyst and SME to collate, understand and finalise functional and technical requirements
• Provide system input to specification phase (effort estimates, high level delivery plan) based on impact assessment
• Partner with development manager in managing application teams to build the enhancements
• Partner with test manager to ensure completion of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance testing and security testing with quality results
• Prepare and manage technical implementation plan across application teams through coordinate technical implementation activities to ensure production cutover and adequate post implementation support
• Escalate issues that impacts project schedule on timely basis and propose workaround/ solutions
• Provide timely updates and report to Project Manager and JRIS management
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent with min. 10 years of experience in IT Project Management in the financial industry in the payment domain
  
  

Leadership experience in managing IT delivery teams and implementing large scale project

Experience in system development work with prior experience in functional, technical specifications and system development

Proficiency in JIRA, MS Project, Excel, Visio

Good understanding and experience in software development cycle (Waterfall or Agile best practices)

Highly effective communicating with technical stakeholders, proficient communicating with non technical stakeholders

Good problem solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking and solutioning skills

Strong negotiation skills and vendor project management skills

Experience in vendor product management will be an added advantage
