Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage developing, testing, validating and maintaining frontend applications for the smart city platform, ensuring a seamless user experience across web and mobile devices.
  • Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Implement backend functionalities using appropriate programming languages and frameworks.
  • Implement and integrate APIs to enhance application functionality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the platform and apps user interface and backend functionalities.
  • Participate in project meetings, presentations, and workshops to provide technical expertise on the user interface and backend development.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure applications align with organizational goals as well as Client needs
  • Improve overall application development process and continuously find ways to modernize and improve performance
  • Stay current on emerging web and mobile development technologies relevant to smart city projects.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience with strong programming skills).
  • a minimum of 10 years overall work experience with 4 years of hands on front-end and back-end development using modern web and mobile technologies in Agile environment
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and one or more back-end languages/frameworks (e.g., Python, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Laravel, Java, or Node.js)
  • Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Experience with APIs development and integration into applications.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, frameworks and best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure,) and deployment procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Familiarity with software version control systems like GIT
  • Experience with project management methodologies, with strong knowledge of Agile environment.
  • Professional certification in the field
