Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Insert Job Title to join our team! In this role you will you will be a key player in developing and implementing AI/ML solutions for a prestigious multidisciplinary smart city project . You will provide expertise and insights to realize the cognitive intelligent city-wide platform and applications. You will collaborate with the team members to successfully deploy AI-enabled use cases and identify opportunities for AI/ML integration, you will further contribute towards developing intelligent features that realizes and optimizes cognitive city operations and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the project team and Client to understand project requirements, identify and advise on potential applications for AI/ML technologies.
• Managing the Development and implementation of machine learning algorithms to analyze data from various sources (sensors, city infrastructure, crowd sourcing, etc.) and extract valuable insights for city management.
• Managing Design and build of AI-powered features for the smart city platform, such as predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and resource optimization.
• Collaborate with the software apps development team to integrate AI/ML models into the overall platform architecture, and customized apps.
• Identify and advise on systems enhancements and new capabilities, concept demonstrators, capability business cases.
• Stay current on emerging AI/ML trends and technologies relevant to smart cities, recommending advancements to the project team.
• Document your work thoroughly, including algorithm specifications, data analysis reports, and model performance evaluations.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• BSc. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience with a strong foundation in AI-ML). Master's degree in the field is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of overall work experience, with minimum 3 years of proven experience in designing and applying AI/ML techniques to real-world problems.
• Strong understanding of machine learning and deep learning algorithms with ability to justify, explain to non technical, and facilitate selection of specific algorithms to fit each use case.
• Familiarity with utilization of Python programming language and libraries in AI (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms AI-ML capabilities and optimum utilization (e.g. GCP, Azure, AWS,), , and AI/ML functionality implementation, and data lake deployment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in technical documentation and writing.
• Experience with project management methodologies.
