Business Analyst

Job Summary:

The Strategic Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting strategic planning, participating in M&A projects, and providing financial and operational analysis for the Export team. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial expertise, and the ability to work cross-functionally to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Strategic Planning

• Develop strategic business models for export markets.
• Analyze competitive environments and market trends.
• Prepare presentations with potential business development scenarios.

2) Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Projects

• Participate in various stages of M&A transactions.
• Gather and organize information for consultants and M&A project managers.

3) Commercial Analytics

• Provide analytical support with high-quality data insights at all levels.
• Extract and analyze data using Power BI and specialized platforms like LSEG and Bloomberg.

4) Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with different departments to understand business needs and facilitate communication.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure thorough financial assessment and analysis for the export business.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.

Experience:

1 to 3 years of experience in a relevant analytical or financial role.

Technical & Professional Skills:

• Fluency in English (both verbal and business writing).
• Proven experience in financial analysis and working with finance teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to create financial models and interpret data.
• Participation in strategic planning and corporate/business unit strategy development.
• Knowledge of M&A processes and experience with analytical modeling.
• Understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and other analytical tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in export or international business operations.
• Familiarity with financial databases like Bloomberg or LSEG.
