Job Title: Android Developer

Location – Bristol, UK

Work Mode: Hybrid - 2-3 days a week from Office

Job type: Contract - 6 Months

Mandate: Banking domain experience

Skills

Strong experience in solid Android native app development including Android SDK, JUnit, Android Studio, and various Android libraries such as OkHttp, Retrofit, Dagger, Hilt and Coroutines. You’ll also have experience of test-driven development alongside the use of automated test frameworks, mocking or stubbing and unit testing tools.

It’ll be ideal if you have a background in solving highly complex, analytical and numerical problems, along with knowledge of RxJava.

Knowledge in Kotlin programming language with good knowledge of Java, HTML, CSS and scripting languages

Experience in coding patterns MVVM, Clean Architecture, Repository, Builder and other such patterns

Experience of various types of testing TDD, unit testing, Espresso, and Robolectric

Experience with RESTful web services development

Experience working in an Agile environment, scrum based approach and agile ceremonies

The ability to create technical documentation to document feature designs and flow charts
