Job Summary: The Firewall Rule Review Specialist is responsible for ensuring the security and efficiency of the organization's network by regularly reviewing and updating firewall rules. This role involves analyzing firewall configurations, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular reviews of firewall rules to ensure they are up-to-date and aligned with security policies.
• Analyze firewall configurations to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with network and security teams to implement necessary changes to firewall rules.
• Document and maintain records of firewall rule changes and reviews.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, SOX, HIPAA).
• Provide recommendations for improving firewall rule management and network security.
• Assist in the development and implementation of firewall policies and procedures.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and ensure the latest patches for firewall software and operating systems are installed.
