The Cybersecurity Manager is responsible for overseeing an organization’s security strategy, protecting IT infrastructure, data, and assets from cyber threats.

This role involves managing security operations, implementing security policies, ensuring compliance with regulations, leading incident response efforts, and mentoring security teams.

· Key Responsibilities

• Security Strategy & Governance

• Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Ensure compliance with security regulations and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA). • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

• Security Operations & Threat Management

• Oversee Security Operations Center (SOC) and incident response teams.

• Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities.

• Manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM, and endpoint protection.

• Incident Response & Forensics

• Lead investigations into security incidents and data breaches.

• Develop incident response plans and conduct security drills.

• Coordinate with legal, compliance, and law enforcement agencies when necessary.

• Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure cybersecurity policies align with regulatory requirements and corporate risk tolerance.
