Program Manager

This well-known global professional membership organisation is seeking an experienced Program Manager to drive the delivery of high-impact strategic initiatives.

Your brand-new role will see you lead the successful delivery of complex programs that shape the future of both business and technology capability. Your focus will be on a strategic initiative exploring new pathways to membership, uplifting legacy platforms, and enabling data-driven insights into member behavior and industry trends.

Key activities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of strategic programs aligned to organisational priorities
• Oversee a team of Project Managers and cross-functional resources
• Deliver complex initiatives on time, on scope, and on budget, ensuring strong governance and risk management
• Align delivery to established frameworks (PMBOK, Prince2, Agile), driving continuous improvement
• Manage stakeholder engagement across internal teams, vendors, and senior executives
• Support organisational strategy execution through portfolio delivery and reporting
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to delivery teams
• Manage commercial arrangements and vendor contracts in partnership with Procurement and Legal

Skills and experience

• Minimum 5-8+ years of experience in program delivery, ideally in a strategic or enterprise PMO setting
• Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, Prince2)
• Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, and financial oversight
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a knack for influencing across all levels
• Ability to manage, coach, and develop high-performing teams
• Results-driven, curious, and solutions-focused - aligned with our values of professionalism, accountability, and collaboration
• Experience working within a membership or higher education provider will be advantageous
