Senior Java Engineer

Mission Overview:

The role involves joining Keystone Solutions as a consultant for a client mission that seeks a Senior Java Software Engineer to contribute to a strategic project. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating a Java application into an interface, utilizing their expertise in the full software development lifecycle to achieve technical, functional, and business objectives from concept and design through to testing. The candidate will also contribute to architecture or solution design in collaboration with architects and will take on a coaching role within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Java Software Engineer will work as a Keystone Solutions consultant and perform the following responsibilities:

• Integrate Java applications into client interfaces.
• Utilize full software development lifecycle expertise to meet project objectives.
• Collaborate with architects to contribute to architecture or solution design.
• Coach developers within the team to enhance project outcomes.
• Manage complex IT projects and technical leadership responsibilities.
  
  
  

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a Masters degree in Computer Science.
• Be multilingual, speaking three languages.
• Have a minimum of 25 years of professional experience in IT.
• Be a Full Stack Developer with recent and demonstrable experience in Angular and React.
• Be an expert in Java with at least 5 years of recent experience as a Tech Lead, managing complex IT projects and coaching developers.
• Demonstrate experience in guiding migration projects and rewriting legacy applications to newer technologies (Java, Spring Boot, cloud, etc).
