DevOps Manager

Penta Consulting are a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner helping to deliver professional and managed solutions across Europe.

A global infrastructure client of ours is looking for an experienced DevOps professional to lead an exciting project, utilising OpenShift.

This is a 12-month extendable contract. The client is based in Netherlands, but are open to remote workers - contract rates are negotiable.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain OpenShift clusters in a production environment.
• Automate the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with a focus on OpenShift and Kubernetes integration.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.

Requirements:

• 10+ years experience with DevOps or in a similar role working with OpenShift or Kubernetes-based environments.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift, including cluster management and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in managing containerized workloads and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure Pipelines, integrated with OpenShift.
• Expertise in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Ansible.
