What You’ll Do

At Doctolib, we're on a mission to transform the way healthcare is delivered by leveraging the power of AI. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you'll play a critical role in developing and implementing cutting-edge AI/ML-driven features that will power the products daily used by Healthcare Professionals and Patients.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with a team of talented Machine Learning Engineers, software engineers, MLOps, healthcare professionals and patients to develop and deploy AI/ML models that will have a real impact on people's lives.

You will leverage textual data, from documents or generated by users, to automate or simplify how patients access care. Also, you will carry out explorations to better understand how users use our product, to orientate the roadmap of Product teams.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with domain experts, software engineers, product and business teams to build the right technical solution to the company challenges
• Identify high impact business opportunities through data exploration, model prototypes and bootstrapping projects.
• Hands-on development, from prototype to production and operation of live machine learning service and pipelines at scaleMeasure the uplift of your approach and continuously improve it
• Mentor and guide other data scientists in the company by promoting best practices, design patterns and thorough documentation
• Regularly present work internally (work together meetings, demos, ...) to other data members or product and business stakeholders.
• Promote Doctolib’s technical excellence through external communication (Medium, conferences, …)
  
  
  

Who You Are

You could be our next teammate if you:

• Have 7+ years of significant experience in Machine learning, and a solid knowledge of latest NLP architecture (transformers, LLM)
• Are result-oriented and user first. You don’t give up if your first solution needs iterations. You are able to switch to an analytical mindset when needed.
• Have already deployed models to production environments with technologies like Terraform and a cloud provider.
• Have an appetite for mentoring and helping your teammates upskill
  
  
  

Now, it would be fantastic if you:

• Are at ease to collaborate with MLOps to design systems for scalability and strong production constraints
• Have experience in other ML methodologies : recommendation, experimentation or causal inference.
