Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of our programmatic advertising platform. You'll be responsible for writing high-quality, maintainable code and driving the long-term development of our products, working closely with both internal teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable Java code that adheres to best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to design, develop, and enhance features.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance in code reviews, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Contribute to building a collaborative and innovative development environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the platform operates efficiently at scale.
• Help drive the growth of the product by identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software development and the programmatic advertising space.

Must-Haves:

• Solid experience in Java (OOP), Git, Relational Databases (MySQL), and DevOps practices.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide other developers, offer project feedback, and collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle unforeseen challenges.
• Passion for writing high-quality, well-structured, and maintainable code.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Based in Berlin.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with technologies such as Druid, Gradle, Guice, Redis, GraphQL, Netty, and cloud platforms like Google Cloud or AWS.
