We are looking for a seasoned Senior Data Scientist to help us shape Emergn’s exciting future and play an important role in our growth.

We want you to:

• Collaborate with data experts and stakeholders to understand business objectives and identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive decision-making and business growth.
• Design and implement advanced data models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to extract meaningful insights from large and complex datasets.
• Develop and deploy machine learning models using Databricks for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and other data science applications.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in the data, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science, AI, and machine learning techniques, and proactively identify opportunities to apply them to business challenges.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

This job might be for you if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science
• Experience with Databricks, Python, and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn)
• Highly experienced and skilled at collaborating with business clients
• An analytical and creative approach to design and problem-solving
• Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills
• Good English skills (verbal and written)

Location requirement:

• Although this position offers the possibility to work remotely, you have to be based anywhere in Latvia.
