What You’ll Experience as a Synthesis CG Data Intern

As an intern on our data team, you’ll be fully immersed in both client projects and internal R&D initiatives that push our productization strategy forward. You’ll work alongside experienced data scientists and strategists, participating in sprints and experiments to uncover valuable insights.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in analyzing client datasets using statistical methods and visualization techniques
• Support the development and refinement of machine learning models
• Help transform complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations
• Contribute to internal R&D projects exploring AI/ML applications
• Collaborate in team sprints to meet project milestones and deliverables

Key Requirements

• Proficiency in Python: Strong skills in data cleaning, manipulation, and visualization
• Excel Expertise: Advanced knowledge of pivot tables, basic functions, and data visualization techniques
• Data Analysis Experience: Understanding of statistics fundamentals, data preparation and cleaning, and the ability to identify patterns
• Adaptability: Comfort with quickly switching between different projects and tasks
• Data Gathering Skills: Experience with survey design and diverse data sources management
• Familiarity with GenAI Models: Experience with API calls, prompt engineering, and a basic understanding of AI workflows
• Knowledge of Clustering Techniques: Experience with clustering methods, including K-means
• Bonus Points: Experience with web scraping, Git basics for code management, experience with Streamlit
