Software Engineer (PHP) 

📌 Work model: Poland, Fully Remote

🗣️ Languages: fluent English & Polish 

🤓 Your role: Working on new features: design, development, implementation and testing of an e-commerce platform. 

🔧 Tech stack: 

• PHP 8.3 & Symfony 7
• MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite for testing
• Solar, ElasticSearch
• Redis
• Git

Your role:

🖱️ Design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of web-based applications.

🖱️ Working in a feature team alongside the product designers, product managers, frontend team and QA to continually elevate the product. 

🖱️ ​Implementing new features (80%) and maintaining existing codebase (20%).

🖱️ ​Ensuring quality, clean, tested code is produced (unit, integration, and other QA tests).

🖱️​ Creating, maintaining, and owning code and application documentation.

🖱️ Debugging and troubleshooting.

🖱️​ Coaching and mentoring junior software engineers in the team.

🖱️ ​Developing and maintaining a solid understanding of the technical architecture.

What will help you get the job done:

🎯 3+ years of experience in the development of commercial-grade web-based software applications using PHP.

🎯 ​Demonstrated proficiency with data-driven web applications.

🎯 ​Exceptional understanding of PHP frameworks (Symfony).

🎯 ​Practical use of SOLID programming principles.

🎯 ​Practical use of Domain-Driven Design programming principle.

🎯​ Experience working in Scrum/Kanban/Agile environment.

🎯 Ability to work well with business analysts, programmers and end users in a cross-functional team.

🎯​Experience with data model design and the implementation and support of SQL databases.

🎯​ English skills are a must, you will use it on daily basis.
