Frontend Developer – Join a Mission-Led Startup Improving Early Childhood Health

Stockholm | Up to 58,000 SEK/month + options | Full-time, on-site

We’re working with a Stockholm-based health tech startup that’s building a product designed to support healthier outcomes for children in their earliest years – and they’re now looking to bring in a Frontend Developer as they scale their product and team.

Fresh off a successful funding round and with their first product launched, this is a rare chance to get in early and help shape a platform that combines science, data, and user-friendly technology to make a real-world difference in families' lives.

They’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, ideally someone who’s been part of taking a product from concept to launch (and all the iterations in between). If you’ve been in a small, ambitious team and know what it means to wear multiple hats while staying laser-focused on impact, this is the kind of challenge you’ll love.

What they’re looking for:

This role isn’t just about writing clean, scalable code – they want someone who’s passionate about the mission, excited to work in a small team, and eager to help build something meaningful from the ground up. They’re also hoping to find someone with natural leadership qualities, as they plan to grow a team around this hire over time.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive the development of new features across mobile and web using React Native (Expo)
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to build seamless user experiences
• Help scale the product based on customer feedback and future vision
• Play a central role in the technical roadmap as the product evolves

What you’ll need:

• 3–5+ years of software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with React Native using Expo
• A good sense of when to build from scratch vs use off-the-shelf packages
• Previous experience in a startup or early-stage company, ideally across the full development lifecycle
• An appreciation for the pace, uncertainty, and impact that comes with startup life

Bonus if you bring:

• Experience with Elixir/Phoenix
• Leadership experience or ambition to grow into a lead role

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Stockholm. At this stage, only candidates already based in Sweden with full work rights can be considered.
