Frontend Developer

We are seeking a Frontend Developer to join our team on a six-month contract with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in web application frameworks and a keen ability to design user-friendly interfaces. This role requires enhanced UI development for a strategic decision-making application, ensuring usability for both technical and non-technical users.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement enhanced UI elements for an existing application.
  • Determine the framework for the web application based on user needs (e.g., Streamlit or React).
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers during the prototyping phase.
  • Develop frontend elements based on design specifications.
  • Integrate with backend systems and liaise with data scientists.
  • Ensure user engagement through effective monitoring strategies.
  • Implement and manage scenario building and management functionalities.
  • Ensure robust delivery through version control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Work alongside data governance teams to establish access control.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong experience with web development frameworks (Streamlit, React, etc.).
  • Proficiency in frontend development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers.
  • Ability to integrate with backend systems.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
  • Experience in user engagement monitoring.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with data governance principles.
  • Prior experience in scenario-based applications.

Other Details: This position may require occasional travel to Copenhagen (2-3 days per month). The role is remote, with an ideal start date of May 1st, and focuses on enhancing strategic decision-making tools for supply chain planning.
