We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our software development team at ABB Bryne. You will play a crucial role in developing the next-generation robot control system, Omnicore Paint, tailored for our advanced painting robots.

Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our software development team at ABB Bryne. You will play a crucial role in developing the next-generation robot control system, Omnicore Paint, tailored for our advanced painting robots.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop embedded systems (Linux, bare metal) and complex software on SoC.
- Apply control theory and utilize programming languages (Python, C/C++, C#, TypeScript).
- Work with Azure and Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment.
- Implement advanced testing, develop software for functional safety, and facilitate Ethernet-based communication (EtherCat/TCP/IP).
- Demonstrate a passion for software development in robotics systems.
Qualifications for the role
- MSc or BSc in a relevant field. Lack of formal education can be compensated with appropriate experience.
- Strong background or interest in the areas mentioned above.
