RF Engineer

We are looking for a talented RF Engineer to join our team. The position is part of the communications and radio positioning group where we develop phased array platforms for communications and radar applications. At KONGSBERG we serve the industrial maritime, security and defence applications, with deliveries made directly to customers or in collaboration with Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace

In this position you will be able to contribute to shaping the future of Kongsberg Discovery’s products. The responsibilities can be tailored to the skills of a more senior position for suitable applicants.

Responsibilities

• RF and electronics design of radio and radar positioning systems
• Development of Phased Array radio platforms and sold state Radar platforms
• Design and implementation
• System integration and testing
• Participate in all aspects of product development and realization
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• A bachelor's degree or higher in electronics or a related technical field
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and optimize radio systems
• Experience from relevant industry is beneficial
• Interest in working with security and defence related communication and radio systems
• Fluent in both spoken and written English. Fluency in spoken and written Norwegian is beneficial
