Our ideal candidate is a web programming specialist who is not only capable of defining how the application looks but also how it works. A team player, he or she should also have a strong understanding of cross browser and device compatibility issues, including the best ways to work around them.

formul8 is a growing creative agency with an insatiable appetite for transforming visions into value. This full-time role is based in our Singapore office. We encourage every candidate to bring along 3-5 examples of your recent work if you are shortlisted for a face-to-face interview.

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the creative team to transform design concepts into captivating and responsive web sites.
  • Covert UI/UX wireframes into code that reflects the desired visual effects.
  • Build reusable codes and components, e.g. sliders, lightboxes, and templates.
  • Create EDMs that are compliant across all email platforms like Outlook, Yahoo and Gmail.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

Main Requirements

  • Competent in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, MySQL database, Photoshop
  • Experience with responsive design principles and frameworks.
  • Proficient in Bootstrap and front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Strong experience with WordPress or any other CMS platform.
  • Able to work in a Mac-based environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Highly Desired

  • Familiarity with WebGL, Three.js or Canvas.
  • Able to develop an e-commerce website with payment gateways.
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, SEO, UTM or other tracking and measurement tools.
  • Hands-on knowledge of mobile app development.
