Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with expertise in proxy client development, network protocols, and RESTful API design. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with .NET Core as the primary development language, and a solid understanding of HTTP, proxy technologies (SOCKS5, HTTP Proxy, Shadowsocks, VPN tunneling), and RESTful API development. Familiarity with Go is a plus but not mandatory. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing proxy client applications and the corresponding backend API services to ensure high-performance, secure, and scalable network solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain proxy client applications using .NET Core.
  • Implement and optimize proxy protocols (SOCKS5, HTTP Proxy, Shadowsocks, VPN tunneling, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to manage proxy services, user authentication, and configurations.
  • Ensure efficient and secure HTTP communication, including handling HTTPS, WebSockets, and authentication mechanisms.
  • Optimize proxy client performance, including connection management, reconnection logic, and intelligent node selection.
  • Design and manage MySQL databases, handling subscription data, API request logging, and user configurations.
  • Implement secure communication mechanisms (TLS/SSL encryption, JWT authentication, OAuth, etc.).
  • Develop smart switching logic in proxy clients to automatically select the best server for optimal performance.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in .NET Core for backend and proxy client development.
  • Familiarity with Go for understanding existing proxy technologies and potential integrations.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, and WebSockets.
  • Experience with RESTful API development, including authentication, rate limiting, and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience in proxy technologies (SOCKS5, HTTP Proxy, Shadowsocks, VPN tunneling).
  • Proficiency in HTTP request handling, including headers, cookies, CORS, and API security.
  • Familiarity with secure communication protocols (TLS/SSL encryption, OAuth, JWT authentication).
  • Experience with MySQL, including designing schemas and optimizing queries.
  • Knowledge of asynchronous programming and connection handling for high-performance applications.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for network and API-related issues.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Nice To Have

  • Experience with Sing-box, Xray, V2Ray, or similar proxy technologies.
  • Knowledge of real-time communication protocols like QUIC, WebRTC, or MQTT.
  • Experience in cloud-based API deployments, including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with reverse proxies (Nginx, HAProxy) and load balancing strategies.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science / information technology, Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication) or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience. Entry levels are welcome to apply.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Self-motivated and results-oriented team player with initiative. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
