Description Of The Roles
As a key member of the electrical and electronics engineering team, you will work on cross- functional team projects to develop and deliver new and innovative technical solutions for a robotic surgical system. You will be working on designing, developing and testing of controller, actuator, sensors, electrical systems etc. to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

You will be working on designing, developing and testing of controller, actuator, sensors, electrical systems etc. to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field
- More than 5 years' of proven experience in electrical and electronic system design & development, preferably in robotic system for medical applications:
- Communication protocols (eg. CAN, Ethernet, UART)
- Analogue and digital mixed circuit design,
- Microcontroller and embedded system for electro-mechanical system
- Experienced at least one cycle of product development
- Proficient in 3D CAD software (such as Altium, SolidWorks etc), in creating electrical schematic, cabling drawings, PCBA
- Good knowledge and experience in performing simulation and analysis and technical
- review of PCBA and circuit design (analogue, digital, power)
- Experience with programming languages, such as C/C++ will be an advantage
- Good knowledge and hands-in experience on type testing (RE, EMC/EMI etc), able to troubleshoot and resolve related issues
- Familiar with regulatory and compliance requirements for medical products (such as
- IEC / IPC standards, risks management etc)
- Able to understand mechanical structure and electro-mechanical assemblies
- Able to communicate and write documents in Chinese (preferred)
- An analytical problem solver to identify root causes, devise/evaluate/recommend optimal solutions to prevent future issues
- Strong interests in surgical robotic system and instruments for medical application
- Able to communicate technical information and build interpersonal relationships with the team members
- Able to work independently and driven to achieve high standards
- Work with cross-functional teams on detailed electrical and electronics design at system level, sub-systems, modules, and components level
- Resolve issues and improve product reliability
- Ensure the design and functionalities meet user needs, able to meet cost target and quality specification, as well as develop options for product continuity
- Perform analytical studies, risk assessment, mechanical verification, and validation
- Co-ordinate design and fabrication activities locally or with overseas partners
- As a mentor to junior engineers and enhance their knowledge and skills
- Ensure proper documentation (Design History File) for mechanical design
